Eva Yerbabuena once again resorts to duality as an expressive and, above all, reflective form. Exploring two fundamentally opposed and yet complementary forces, the dancer and choreographer pounces on a maxim that is increasingly present in her creations: nothing exists in a pure state or in absolute quiet.

In this way, and in a constant transformation that takes place over the course of the four parts or numbers that make up “Yerbagüena (bright dark)”, the artist tests the certainty of what she has always believed in. And the fact is that, as she herself contends, “constant transformation is a morbid provocation that not only exists, but also gives meaning to everything”.
